    Soul Ties – READ

    Hey bae!

    I’m Miss Candice, urban romance author, mentor, graphic designer AND publisher. I wear many hats in the book community but my absolute favorite is, without a doubt, author. On top of all of those amazing things, I created this — Books, Brunch & Mimosas. Because if you haven’t noticed, I am passionated about all things books. Not only the writing aspect of it. Always have been. Long before my debut novel, If Not for Love, graced Amazon. Way back when Black Expressions and Triple Crown Publications were thee highlight of black stories. Eric Jerome Dickey, may his beautiful soul rest in peace, was my favorite back then. I used to love to brag about reading all of his books. LOL.

    Anyway! Back to the topic at hand… me! LOL. I was born and raised on the east side of Detroit MI. I’ve been writing since a teenager but I didn’t publish until 2014. I’ve penned over fifty novels with several being Amazon urban romance bestsellers. Saint Baptiste is my latest. Recently I won an AIB (Audio in Black) award for best Urban audio book for Soul Ties.

    When I’m not wearing my ‘literature hat’, I’m just Candice, the wife and mother of three young princes. 💕

    All-time favorite book: All time? Whew… I’d have to say um… IDK. Maybe Stay by Ivy Symone? Or Last Stop from Innocence by Takerra Allen. Or… Lonely Pole… IDK. This is a hard question. Because it could be a classic such as Black and Ugly or Me and My Boyfriend. 😬

    Recent favorite book: Recent would have to be um… Tempted by Danger or something. IDK. These are some hard questions. IDK What I was thinking when I came up with them, chile. LMAO.

    Hey! I’m BriAnn.

    I’ve been an author for eight years now, and honestly, I can’t thank God enough for my gift. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine centering my life around fictional characters that I love with my entire being. It just further confirms that my passion and purpose are aligned.

    While I mainly write Urban Romance, don’t sleep on my romance, erotica, or paranormal reads. Ya girls’ pen is blessed, and I’m so grateful for my readers who continue to trust me with their time, hearts, and minds. I don’t just write to tell a story. I write to paint a picture and give a testimony.

    I pen stories for the hoes and the hoochies that love, love. Instant gratification is where my heart lies… along with well-to-do hood men that exude BDE. Submerging yourself into the Evelyn Latrice Universe, you’re sure to lose your breath, giggle, and pick up a few life lessons.

    I am a millennial hopeless romantic, married to my dream man with a house full of kids and a dog. Growing up in a world full of love I feel it’s only right that I pen some of the greatest love stories. With over 15 titles under my belt, I’m certain you’ll find a story or two to indulge in to feed your appetite for love.

  • Misguided: Touissaint Mafia Book 1 - READ

    I was born and raised in Detroit. A Lot of my books are based in Detroit as well, along with a few other cities I created. I love writing. I have been in love with writing since I was a teenager. The first book that brought me into the world of urban fiction was Flyy Girl and from there I was hooked. I love creating urban fiction stories that are heavy on the alpha male and, love with a little bit of drama mixed in between. I reside outside of the city of Detroit with my kids and our dog Wynter.

    Fav brunch dish: breakfast shrimp tacos with guacamole.

    Fav mimosa: the OG mimosa with orange juice.

    Book I enjoyed writing most: was Derailed.

    All time favorite book: Midnight by Sista Soulja.

    I am Ladii Nesha, or the Mistress of Messy as my lovely readers like to say. I currently have 17 published books including a collaboration and one exclusively on the Book Lovers App. For me, writing is like a rollercoaster. It's supposed to take you on a thrilling ride. It should start out smooth, and then take you up until your heart is racing and then drop, leaving you with your mouth wide open! My goal is to see my novels play out on the big scene while I sip tea with Tyler Perry, Spike Lee and Issa Rae. When I'm not writing, I'm reading, watching old movies or chasing my ten-year old around. I love traveling, good food and a good time!

    Recent favorite book: Recently I read Amour, by Dak, Faded Pictures in a Broken Frame by Rose Dior and Obeying His Law by Wynta Tyme. I loved them all!

    I’m Taylor and I’m 28 and a Scorpio. I’ve been writing for 6 years and have over 70 books published. Writing was always something I enjoyed doing for fun until the opportunity for me to get published was dropped in my lap. I enjoy writing about broken or complicated characters and stories that take readers on a roller-coaster ride. I’m also an angst junkie when it comes to reading.

    When I’m not reading or writing, I’m binge-watching anime, crime shows, or comedies. I’m a foodie and stress baker, always looking for the next thing to make. And when I have done time I like attempting different crafts or playing with my dogs.
